I get a "500 servlet
exception" error on a file in work/ directory.
This error is related to permissions. You need to assign write
permission to group (chmod -R g+w work/). You can do this using your
FTP software by right clicking on the work directory and going to
"Permissions" or "Properties".
If you have trouble assigning the appropriate permissions by
yourself, contact the Technical Support team by e-mail and they will
process your request.
I want the server log to be
saved into the WEB-INF/ directory.
To enable this, you need to assign appropriate permissions to the
WEB-INF/ directory. Give group write permission (chmod g+w WEB-INF/).
You can do this using your FTP software by right clicking on the work
directory and going to "Permissions" or "Properties". Then touch the
web.xml (or re-upload it, if you are using a Windows GUI FTP program)
and the server log will be written into the WEB-INF/ folder.
If you have trouble assigning the appropriate permissions by
yourself, contact the Technical Support team by e-mail and they will
process your request.
I have a problem with
org.postgresql.jdbc2.ResultSet.getTimeStamp.
According to the postgres documentation, prior to PostgreSQL 7.3
timestamps would by default be issued with a time zone. After this
release they did not. The error occurs simply because there was no
time zone specified on the timestamp columns in the database. By
creating the timestamp column as "with time zone" ,
StringIndexOutOfBoundsException is removed, when attempting to read
the data from the table.
If there are problems with timestamps in JDBC2 on your servers, it
may be related to a lack of a time zone when creating the column in
the table.
I get a "500 Servlet
Exception" Error appearing after submitting a form.
This is a security precaution. We do not allow
to use GetProperties as it globally retrieves all variables. To
solve this problem, simply specify the variable in your code
