Frontpage 97
The Microsoft FrontPage help pages are
an excellent resource for FrontPage Web-hosting problems, we strongly
recommend you use
Microsoft FrontPage help page resources.
Below is a brief
summary of the most common problems;
"FrontPage
extensions are not installed. Contact your Service Provider"
Simply ignore this
comment and click continue. Microsoft FrontPage throws up this message
if it detects a non-Microsoft server platform. We use Zeus, the
world's fastest server software, and it definitely does has FrontPage
support installed as standard!
"My order form
doesn't work when I create it using FrontPage"
A very regular concern! Firstly,
always build a FrontPage order form
on the server.
Do not attempt to design it on your computer and then upload it.
Even when you take this precaution,
you may find the </form> tag, in the html, has moved from the bottom
of the Web page to just after <form> tag. The problem now is that you
need to move the </form> tag to the bottom of your Web page. Use an
FTP software product
to amend the detail, or fill in the
enquiry form
and request us to do it.
"Parts of my FrontPage Web site don't work!"
Don't use an FTP
client to upload your Web site from your computer to the Web server.
Always publish the Web site using the FrontPage publishing function.
